My guess would be that it all depends on where the biggest obstruction to air flow occurs.  If the total square inch openings of the two horns are not bigger than that found on the stock air filter canister, then it probably would not make any positive difference.  

If you would hook them up to tubing to achieve a "ram effect", you might get a bit more air flow, but I wonder if the actual filter element wouldn't be the major restriction to the air flow, in which case, none of the above matters.
