[Gmcnet] Gas leak? on "new" 1976 GMC Birchaven

In 2002 I replaced all the fuel line in my 75 coach. I used 
gates fuel line. While on my trip to Santa Rosa international
rally I had a drip drip drip. Upon examining it, I found the 
new hose was cracking and had split near selector valve. 
I patched it till I got home. I called Gates and complained
about the hose going bad in such a short time. They said 
it probably was defective hose and if I would send them
a section with my original receipt they would replace it.
I did, they did. The guy I talked to also said the new hose 
is more compatible to the newer fuels.  Watch what the 
ethanol does to your old hose. Expect leaks.
