[Gmcnet] Fridge Problem (Dometic RM2652)

Hi Bob

I have a Dometic RM 2653...not sure what the difference is.

Mine is an auto, so whether I am using propane or electric, it will automatically switch over with electric being it's default choice.

When I go to start it on propane, I push the ON button and keep it set on AUTO. After a short time the CHECK light goes on, I just hit the On button to OFF and turn it back on. I keep getting the CHECK light 3 or 4 times until it begins getting gas, then it starts OK and cools great. I also purchase a small circulating fan for the inside and wow, does it do a great job, keeps the entire refrig at 38 degrees.

This spring I removed and cleaned the orifice, very simple to remove and then I just blew it out with compressed air. Just got back from vacation last week and it all worked perfect both on propane and on LP. It's a good sign that it's working well on electric, your LP problem shouldn't be too hard to resolve.

Let me know if I can help at all.

Ray

It was new 3 years ago and has been used very little. I have also noticed it gets hot on the front between the 2 doors.Has anyone had any similar problems? I need to get all this stuff fixed before the fall convention, any help would be greatly appreciated!!

I HAVE HEARD RUMORS THAT THE BIGGEST ISSUE IS SPIDER WEBS IN THE BURNER. CLEAN AND GO? I`M SURE SOMEBODY WILL CHIME IN WITH EXPERIENCE WITH THE 3 WAY.
