[Gmcnet] broken transmission pawl ?

Richard,
If you did not find any metal in the pan, that must be the coach that I took the pawl, spring, pivot shaft and metal pieces out of back in 1989.  The coach was towing a CJ5 and parked on an incline in the 'Rockies'.  I think I still have the pawl somewhere.  I see it from time to time.  The owner did not want to replace the transmission so I put it back together and fixed the parking brake to where it would hold and he used chocks on the wheels when parked.
