[Gmcnet] 8 year old tires?

I did the following after I purchased my coach in spring of 06.

1. Replaced the steering gear box ( Ihad 6" of play in the steering wheel) and the steering shock damper.
2. Replaced all 6 of my tires.
3. Reset my ride height to factory spec.

My coach drives and handles like a dream. I do most of my driving with 2 fingers on the steering wheel whether I'm traveling 25 OR 70 MPH. Naturally the steering box was a biggee, but adjusting the ride height made an incredible difference !!

I shopped and shopped and shopped, finally found a local dealer that made me an offer I could not refuse. $400 tax in for 6 Dunlop Rover AT 225/75/16 E rated out the door. I like them.

It has been my experience that the cost of round wheels and good ragwall tires will be more than paid for when you DON`T start replacing parts trying to FIX a driving and handling problem. It took me 3 years of replacing parts to learn that.

Good Luck...
